* December 19 -30 Christmas Holidays Mrs. Martin‛s Math/Language Math Chapter 3 Multiply 2 digit by 2 digit. We are working on some of the hardest skill for 4th grade the next few chapters. Please remind your child to pay attention everyday. VOCABULARY Compatible numbers: numbers that are easy to compute mentally Associate Property of Multiplication: the property that states that when your grouping of factors is changed, the product remains the same. Commutative Property of Multiplication: the property that states when the order of two factors is changed, the product remains the same. Estimate: to find an answer that is close to exact amount Partial product: method of multiplying in which the ones, tens, hundreds, and so on are multiplied separately and their products are added together Product: the answer in a multiplication problem Regroup: to exchange amounts of equal values to rename a number Multiplication test Friday, Nov. 10th is on 6‛s. (Repeat for more practice) Language ●
