Deacon Chris Barrett Offers Liturgy Workshop Saturday, August 27th from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Holy Cross Church in Lynchburg, our own Deacon Chris will offer a workshop for all liturgical ministers. Register by August 21st. A donation of $5 will cover your lunch and refreshments. This includes altar servers, ushers, lectors, and ministers of Eucharist, sacristans, banner and flower people and musicians. Expressed in Vatican Council II, Constitution on the Sacred Liturgy, both laity and clergy are called to "full, active and conscious participation" to ensure that the Mass is celebrated with "noble simplicity .
