Medina Community Band's third concert of the 2017
season will be Friday, June 16 at 8:30 pm in Medina's
Uptown Park Square Gazebo. This concert will
celebrate Flag Day, and everyone is encouraged to bring flags and wear
red, white, and blue! The concert will last approximately one hour and Boy
Scouts of America Troop 514 will present the weekly ice cream social.

Pizza Palooza returns to Medina
Square
Non-profit and social service agencies will be featured on
the square Saturday, but the real feature will be
pizza! Featuring local pizzerias and restaurants, the 2017
Pizza Palooza will be from 9 am to 2 pm. Admission is
free and you can buy sampling tickets onsite. The
Auditor's Community Fund will be taking donations for popcorn. More

increase license plate
registration fees by $5 to
help maintain and repair
roads and bridges and
other projects.
In May, county Engineer
Andy Conrad asked
county commissioners to
consider adding the
"permissive tax" to vehicle
registrations in order to
shore up his department's
budget.
Revenue can be used for
planning, construction,
improvements,
maintenance and repairs
of roads and bridges.

Corps will be working with different organizations
throughout Medina County, fulfilling needs of all kinds and making a

Wadsworth High School will host an exclusive NASA
STEM camp this summer, June 26-28, featuring
hometown astronaut Navy Captain Mike Foreman! Go
For Launch! is a 3-day program (8 hours each day) that
uses Space Exploration as a platform to launch student
involvement in Science, Technology, Engineering and
Math (STEM), STEAM (Art), teamwork, communication
