FUNCTIONS & EVENTS
Thank you for choosing Boheme to host your next function.
Our restaurant is conveniently located just minutes from the CBD and has
ample street parking and a tram stop right out front, making it easily accessible
to its customers. Boheme is perfect for all occasions, from intimate sit down
dinners, to celebratory parties of all kinds. Our function space can cater to 120
people for a sit down meal, or 150+ for a stand up cocktail style event.
As our guest, you will have exclusive use of the upstairs function room, with its
own private bar. You will also have direct contact with our in-house party
planner, along with DJ’s, decorators and all other staff to help ensure your
event is a success.
We have included 3 possible event packages, however we understand that
every event is different and we are happy to tailor these packages to suit the
needs of your event perfectly! We endeavor to meet all of our clientele’s
requests and are more than happy to discuss meal and drink options with you
to meet your individual requirements.
At Boheme, we are comfortable hosting all types of celebrations, such as
birthdays, engagements, christenings and receptions. We are also suited to a
more corporate clientele, and can host training days, business meetings and
presentation nights. All of our staff are highly experienced and are happy to
help in any way they can to guarantee your event runs smoothly.

Terms & Conditions
1. Confirmation of Booking/ Deposit
A Tentative booking will be made on your behalf for a period of
7 days, after this time if written confirmation has not been
received we will terminate this booking. A 10% deposit is
required within 14 days to secure your booking unless
otherwise arranged with management. If the deposit is not
received by the due date, Boheme Restaurant Bar reserves the
right to cancel the booking and allocate the space to another
client.
2. Confirmation of menu & final numbers
Selection of Menu and beverage packages must be finalised 10
days prior to the function. This includes any dietary
requirements. Any dietary requirements made less than 10
days prior to the event may not be catered to due to
inadequate preparation time and produce availability. Final
numbers must also be provided to management 7 days prior to
the function. Should final numbers on the day of the event fall
below the previously guaranteed minimum, charges will still be
based on that confirmed minimum number.
3. Cancellation
In the case of an event being cancelled, the following terms are
applicable:

 Notice given 60 or more days prior- full deposit is
refundable.
 Notice given 30-60 days prior- the deposit is forfeited.
 Within 14-30 days prior- the cancellation fee will be 50%
of the anticipated revenue originally stated on event
sheet.
 14 days or less prior- the cancellation fee will be 100% of
the anticipated revenue stated on event sheet.
 A change/ postponement of event will be considered a
cancellation and above charges will apply.
 The venue reserves the right to cancel any booking if the
deposit is not received within 7 days of making the
tentative booking.
4. Payment
All functions must be paid in cash, credit card or bank cheque
at least 2 days before the date of the function unless otherwise
authorized by management. Personal and company cheques
will only be accepted with prior approval.
5. Minimum Spends
Boheme Restaurant Bar reserves the right to apply minimum
spends when the function space is specifically allocated for an
event. The amount will be stated in the confirmation letter if it
applies.
6. Consumption of Outside Food/ beverages
No food/ beverages of any kind will be permitted to be brought
into the venue by the client or any other person attending
unless arrangements have been made prior with management.

7. Equipment/ Decorations and Entertainment
To personalize your event, we are more than happy to arrange
special equipment, decorations or entertainment. This will
incur additional costs dependent on the arrangement.
8. Price variation
Every endeavor is made to maintain our prices as we originally
quote you, however they are subject to change. Should any
increases occur, we will be sure to notify you immediately.
9. Access to venue
The client is allowed access to the function space 2 hours
before agreed commencement time of function. Boheme
Restaurant Bar must be notified 24 hours prior to the function
regarding times of arrival.
10. Additional Meals
For any third parties, including photographers and entertainers,
meals are provided at standard Boheme menu prices.
11. Signage
Nothing is to be nailed, screwed, stapled, or adhered to the
walls, doors or any other surface of the building.
12. Supply of alcoholic beverages
Boheme Restaurant Bar reserves the right to refuse the supply
of alcoholic beverages to any guest attending the event that
are considered to be underage, intoxicated or behaving in an
offensive manner.
13. Responsibility

The client is responsible for any damage that is sustained to the
venue or any other property owned by or in the care and custody of
Boheme Restaurant Bar, which is caused by any person attending the
function.
General and normal cleaning is included in the cost of the event,
however additional charges may be payable if the event has created
cleaning needs above and beyond normal cleaning.
Boheme Restaurant and Bar does not accept responsibility for the
damage or loss of goods left on the premises prior to, during or after
the event.
