FEES: Free to Full Members ADULTS HEALTH & WELLNESS DIABETES PREVENTION PROGRAM The YMCA Diabetes Prevention Program is an evidence-based program recognized by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. This 12-month program is designed to help individuals with prediabetes reduce their risk of developing diabetes. The program is proven to reduce the risk of developing type 2 diabetes by more than 58-72%. Participants will: •B e placed in a group based on their own scheduling and location needs. •M eet one hour per week for 25 weekly, biweekly and monthly sessions. • L earn skills to lead a healthier lifestyle, including how to eat healthier, increase physical activity, and change their behavior. Within six months she opened a personal training facility for women.
