Then a guest was invited to show and demonstrate how she takes care of her pets. The children created a paper pet to take care of in the classroom for a week. FIRST GRADE (Gennesy) - Medium Grade Level – First Grade Assignment – Students conducted research about how food travels from the farm to the table. They wrote and illustrated the process of food growing and traveling to the supermarket table, by using transitional words, supporting their writing with descriptions and facts and correctly sequencing the process. Strengths Subject verb agreement. Use of transitional words. Focused on the topic from beginning to end. Most sentences use proper capitalization and punctuation. Needs – Medium – Using vocabulary (transitional words) in proper order editing for content develop the facts with further description.
