Characters in Spanish.

Narración
The series of pictures below illustrates a story an outline of which is given in the “Guía.”
Use the picture series as a basic guide to write the story (in Spanish, in the third person) in which your
two characters are Ángel and Cristina. (Note that Ángel is male and Cristina is female.) Include a short
paragraph in which you introduce your characters. Then narrate the story in the past using the
appropriate verb tenses. Pay close attention to the verb forms. Give your story a title.
Use the guide given, but feel free to modify and combine sentences and to include additional relevant
details and transitional words to make your story flow smoothly. Be sure to include instances of both
the preterite and the imperfect tenses.
Here are some words and expressions that you may consider using: Ayer, el viernes pasado, la semana
pasada, primero, luego, y, pero, entonces, mientras, después, por eso, finalmente, por fin.
Type your story double-spaced putting in the accent marks and other special characters. (See the
“Ejercicios y recursos” section of the class page for information on “How to Type Accents and Special
Characters in Spanish.”).
