Come and watch our Lady Panthers take on Valle Catholic girls basketball teams. The 8th grade players,
their parents, and the coaches will be recognized prior to the start of the A game. The B and A Teams will play starting at 5:45 p.m. Stay
for the pizza party in the cafeteria. To attend complete the form that was sent home today and return it to the school office by Wednesday,

PATRIOT’S PEN – VFW CONTEST Each year the VFW sponsors the Patriot’s Pen Contest where students
are to write a
300-400 word essay. This year they received over 200 entries and Trinity Lutheran School is proud to announce the top three winners –

FEBRUARY 17 – CHAPEL 8 A.M. and DADS and DONUTS SPONSORED BY THE PTL On this day
all Dads and/or that important someone in your student’s life are invited to come for 8 a.m. chapel and to stay for donuts and a drink with
your child. This is very special event that the students look forward to each year!
SPRING TRACK Heads up for your spring planning--Trinity will have a track team this year again for grades 1-8! SEMO track
athletes will again be helping us with practices and we will attend the Cape Parks and Rec meets. Look for sign up details coming in early
March. Track season runs late March through early May.

COOLER WEATHER is here… This is a good time to remind your child not to share any head apparel (sock caps, caps, scarves)
with other friends! Also, the Lost and Found box, by the South entrance is already full with a variety of school uniforms and jackets.

National SCRIP orders will be sent in on February 7th and 21st.
Please have your order to the school office by 12 noon on
these dates. The order form is in your Back-to-School folder (pink paper) or can be downloaded at t-lutheranschool.org or on the bulletin
board in the hallway outside the office. Christmas is quickly approaching--why not order gift cards to do your shopping and giftgiving. Gift Card Holiday Wrappers in a package of 10 for $2.00 with a 10% contribution to our school are now available for purchase with
your Scrip order.

SAXONY FUTURE CRUSADER NIGHT On Tuesday, January 31, 6 p.m. all students are invited to wear their TLS shirts
and come to the basketball games for FREE!
SAXONY BOOSTER CLUB CHILI SUPPER
The Saxony Booster Club invites you to their annual Chili Supper and
Basketball game on Friday, February 10, serving from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. Adults $6, Children ages 4-11 $3 and ages 3 and under are free.
Stay for the boy’s basketball games vs Meadow Height Panthers. Basketball games begin at 6 p.m.

12, all River Radio stations, text messages provide through the Southeast Missourian.
This service has been used in the past and many families are already signed up to receive text alerts. If you need to sign up go to
www.semissourian.com and scroll all the way to the bottom. Under services click on Text Alerts. It will then walk you through the steps.
There are many local options to choose text alerts, but section 7 is where selecting Trinity Lutheran School is found. Finish this process
and an authorization number will be sent via text, input this number and the process is complete. By using this free service it will be a
quick easy way to communicate events and cancellations at Trinity!
