Lazy afternoons spent lying on the beach (or cooped up in a conference room) can make it a lot easier to skip daily gym sessions in favor of heading straight to the buffet or calling room service. Changes in climates and timezones and spending time in crowded spaces like airplanes can make you vulnerable to illness. So how do you balance your wellness while still enjoying your trip? Be Prepared As part of your trip preparation, pack your own first aid kit. If you are fortunate enough not to use the contents of your kit, a lot of these items •P ack healthy snacks — Great snacks waiting for your flight. On long drives, resting both feet on the floor is easier on your back and hips. • Take a break. Be sure to stop regularly to get out of your car and stretch.
