Pottery Painting Workshop

This is a hands-on workshop where you will paint your own bisque ware pottery. All glazes will be
provided by INK. Brushes will be available but participants can bring their personal brushes if desired.
Workshop instructor Phil Dennis will briefly explain the process from beginning to finished piece. He
will cover simple techniques and how-to tricks that make things easier with the entire group, and will
be happy to answer questions and assist painters on an individual basis. Phil will bring inspiration
notebooks, but participants are welcome to bring their reference artwork as well.
In order to make the smaller projects (i.e. mugs, drawer pulls, etc.) worth the time, Phil suggests
painting a set of two or more. Smaller pieces are also a good option for children accompanying an
adult painting a larger piece. Participants can always purchase a complete set of items, paint however
many they can during the workshop, and then come by the studio to finish up. There aren’t any extra
fees involved for this service--INK will store the unfinished items [high] up on shelves for the artist to
come and finish when they can.

Registration opens Monday, October 15. Your payment is your reservation. Complete the attached order form and return it to the parish office with your payment no later than Thursday,
