1. How did Paul Revere display positive character traits of diligence and
liberty?
Paul Revere displayed diligence and liberty, two of his positive
character traits, because he worked all his life at different jobs providing for
his large family and worked toward his goal of freedom, independence, and
liberty from British rule. He was a leader during the times of the American
Revolution!
2. Why was Paul Revere’s geographic location of where he lived and
worked important to his contributions to the freedom from the British?
Boston, MA, was the hub of commerce, people buying and selling
goods. Revere’s silver shop was near the harbor, this allowed the
Revere family to hear stories and complaints against the British rule.
The Sons of Liberty met and planned protests and boycotts against
the British. The Sons of Liberty were responsible for the Boston Tea
Party, a statement against British tax. Paul lived in Boston; he was
one of three people who helped warn the colonist, or militia, that the
British were coming!!! The beginning of the Revolutionary War began
in Lexington, MA.
3. What was his legacy he left behind? Why do we consider him an
American Hero?
Paul Revere’s legacy is extremely important to the birth of a new
nation, USA. He helped lead the revolt against British rule. He is an
American Hero because he put his life in jeopardy for his belief of freedom. He
