Have an old computer or other electronic device that is unused and in your way?
The green team at Way Elementary School wants you to collect those old electronics and help our school There is no
limit to how much you can drop off! Our Way Elementary School community has an great opportunity to safely and
properly dispose of computers and small electronics. Computer Recyclers, a Michigan firm works with many other
schools and non-profits. They will collect our product at no charge! They also guarantee that no component will end up
in a landfill and ALL information will be destroyed!

Notebooks, Laptops, and Tablet PC’s
Monitors; LCD Only
Printers; Both Ink and Laser
Keyboards, Mice and Scanners
Laptop Bags
Ink Cartridges New and Used
Phones; Cell, PDAs Business, and Home
(Please bag leaking cartridges)
Audio Equipment (Stereo Receivers, Speakers, Etc)
Video and Projection Equipment
Cameras; Both Old Style and Digital
Calculators; Desk and Handheld
Home Media, Servers, External Hard Drives,
Computer Drives, CD, DVD, Hard, Floppy Cord/Wire; Computer, Electrical, Cable
Misc Electronic Small Items
Small Household Appliances: Toasters, Irons, Etc)
Non-Household Batteries (No AAA, AA, C, D)

Electronics contain many hazardous materials that can contaminate groundwater if placed in landfills. They also consist of valuable resources, such as precious metals, copper, and engineered
plastics, all of which require considerable energy to process and
manufacture. Recycling electronics recovers valuable materials,
rather than manufacturing them, conserves natural resources,
and results in lower environmental emissions (including greenhouse gases). Do Your Part! All hard drives collected at this
event will be destroyed, N.C.!
