CHICAGO - St. Norbert College breezed through the North
Park University Invitational,
winning scored dual matches
against the other 11 schools
competing.
Randy Hill picked up individual wins in the long jump
and triple jump. Hill finished with a distance of 6.35 meters in the long jump, and then had a length of 12.73
meters to handily win the triple jump.
The 4x100-meter relay of Akeem Edmonds, Taylor
Pasterski, Brad Boockmeier and Tyler Lewis won with a
time of 44.37 seconds. The quartet of Edmonds, Pasterski, Austin Livingston and Jake Schneider won the
4x400-meter relay with a time of 3:29.11.
Benny Swift won the 800-meter run with a time of
2:01.08, and was third in the 1,500-meter run with a
time of 4:15.12. Pasterski won the 200-meter dash with
a time of 23.49 seconds, while Austin was third in 23.78
seconds. Pasterski took second in the 100-meter dash
with a time of 11.69 seconds.
Livingston was second in the 400-meter run with
a time of 51.06 seconds, while Edmonds was third in
51.57 seconds. Dan Sisler was second in the 110-meter
hurdles with a time of 16.89 seconds, while Boockmeier
was third at 17.35.
Evan Broyles placed second in the shot put with a
distance of 11.85 meters, while Brock Becker finished
third at 11.75 meters. Kenny Oxendorf was second in
the discus at 40.31 meters, and Becker was third at
39.88 meters.
Jack Feuerstein was third in the 400-meter hurdles
with a time of 1:00.01. Brennan Beachler was third in
the pole vault at 3.65 meters.

CHICAGO - St. Norbert
College swept its way through
the North Park University Invitational, winning scored dual
matches against the other 11
schools competing.
St. Norbert won both relays. The 4x100-meter
relay of Jaclyn Kerner, Mara Aparnieks, Erin Lang and
Jolene Kerner finished with a time of 51.18 seconds.
In the 4x400-meter relay, Jaclyn Kerner, Brittany Kozlowski, Clarissa Jauregui and Jolene Kerner won with
a time of 4:12.03.
Brittany Kozlowski was first in the 400-meter run
with a time of 1:01.06. Samantha Morateck won the
high jump with a leap of 1.60 meters, while Nicole
Vanderlin was third in 1.50 meters. Grace Mickelson
was first in the pole vault at 2.45 meters, while Jenne
Wiedemeier was third at 2.45 meters.
Kalee Luedtke placed second in the long jump at
4.62 meters, while Brianna Bittner was third at 4.49
meters. Bittner was third in the triple jump at 9.83
meters.
Amanda Yenter was second in the 100-meter hurdles with a time of 16.98 seconds, while Teagan Wernicke was third at 18.01 seconds. Ali Fox was second
in the 800-meter run in 2:33.64, while Taylor Miller
was third in 2:33.71. Mallory Nickerson was second in
the discus with a heave of 36.53 meters.
Charlotte Walsh was third overall in the 1,500-meter run with a time of 5:02.42. Wernicke was third in
the 400-meter hurdles in 1:12.98. Markiesa Westphal
was third in the shot put at 10.85 meters.

Norbert College sent a small
contingent of athletes South for
a Spring Break trip and competition the week of March 23rd.

strong performances from its
women’s distance team down
at the Shamrock Invitational
in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina.

Some of the highlights from
the trip were achieved over the
two day decathlon competition. Brad Boockmeier produced National top 50 marks in the Long Jump and Shot
Put en route to a score of 6423 points in the decathlon.
Currently, Boockmeier is ranked 3rd in the Nation.
Leading the way for the Green Knights was Senior
Elvia Martinez. Martinez ran a lifetime best in the
10,000m run(38:37.06) and is currently ranked 10th
in the country!
Dan Sisler, a 2013 NCAA qualifier in the decathlon,
also put up strong numbers to finish 5th in the 18 man
field. Sisler is currently ranked 5th in NCAA Division III.
Charlotte Walsh had a season PR in the 5K, breaking the tape in 18:39.84. Walsh is currently sitting
atop the Midwest Conference standings in that event.
Taylor Pasterski was not to be outdone by his fellow
teammates as he raced to times of 22.23 in the 200m
dash and 48.87 in the 400m dash. Pasterski is currently ranked 23rd and 7th in those events, respectively!
Jaclyn Kerner led the way in the sprints for the
SNC women. For the first time in her career, Kerner
broke 59 seconds in the 400m dash. Her time of
58.80 is currently the 18th fastest time in the country!

MWC Performer of the Week
Taylor Pasterski blitzed the
field down in South Carolina,
finishing the 400m dash in
a time of 48.87. Pasterski’s
time currently has him ranked
7th in the Nation!
For his efforts, Pasterski was
named the Midwest Conference track athlete of the
week.
Joining Pasterski as a Midwest Conference field athlete of the week was Brad Boockmeier. Boockmeier,
who is from the same high school as Pasterski, was
honored for his performance in the Decathlon at the
Spring Break Meet hosted by Coastal Carolina University.
The SNC Men & Women have been on the Conference
POW list several times this season and are closing in
on the all time record of 10 in a season.

Jacob Schneider

Schneider(Wausau/Newman Catholic H.S.)is a
three-year letter-winner on
the Green Knight Track &
Field team and a one-year
letter winner on the cross
country team. Schneider is
majoring in Chemistry.
Q: Why did you choose St. Norbert?
A: No single reason. I guess in talking with my
brother, Dann, as well as other people on the
team at the time about the school and the
chemistry program, they convinced me to come
here.
Q: Who is your favorite professional athlete?
A: Donald Driver, I don’t care if he’s retired.
Q: What was your favorite class(es) taken
at St. Norbert College?
A: Either “The Soul” or “Consciousness” with Dr.
Abel
Q: Who was your favorite childhood cartoon character?
A: Not a specific character, but the cartoon Tom
and Jerry in general.
Q: What’s the one movie you must have in
your movie collection?
A: The Princess Bride
Q: What’s your fondest memory as an SNC
athlete?
A: Being able to run with my brother, especially
in the 4x4.
Q: What’s currently hanging from your
dorm room/apartment wall?
A: Posters, a periodic table, and a smoke detector

A: Marshmallow Maties

your favorite campus activity?
