RSPB Wildlife Explorers is the junior membership of the RSPB. Golden eagles can reach 200 miles per hour when diving through the air to catch prey. Super-sharp eyesight means golden eagles can spot a rabbit up to two miles away. These huge birds have a wingspan of two metres – that’s as wide as a large car! Long, powerful talons help eagles to grab hold of their prey.
