SPRING 2017 Workforce Development Focus on Training Community Education offers non-credit classes for the community that are for life-long learning. Workforce Development offers credit and non-credit classes to improve workforce skills for immediate or improved employment. They can also be used as a part of a certificate or degree program. The Green River Center hosted over 4,500 people for industry safety training last spring. The Green River Center Houses its own computer labs and Learning Center that are available to community members. The Learning Center programs prepare people for jobs, further education or training, and personal development. Registration Process Community Education courses are offered for non-credit. Charges associated with an individual course or event are based upon the direct cost of offering the course or event plus a 35% administrative fee. Sweetwater County residents age 60 years or over may enroll for courses offered at Western with payment of tuition waived. Special fees for supplies or other costs remain the financial responsibility of each student, regardless of age, and cannot be waived. SPRING 2017 Workforce Development Focus on Training Community Education offers non-credit classes for the community that are for life-long learning. Workforce Development offers credit and non-credit classes to improve workforce skills for immediate or improved employment. They can also be used as a part of a certificate or degree program. The Green River Center hosted over 4,500 people for industry safety training last spring. The Green River Center Houses its own computer labs and Learning Center that are available to community members. The Learning Center programs prepare people for jobs, further education or training, and personal development.
