To receive a message regarding the current status of White Bear Lake Area Schools for a particular day call the “Emergency School Closing Hotline” at 651-407-7540. This hotline will only be used for school closings, late starts and early dismissals. We will not be using it for messages regarding late buses or any other transportation concerns. We will also be using the School Messenger program to notify parents. If school is in session, but there are poor driving conditions, the Transportation Department will run all buses as scheduled if at all possible. The only time a route will be altered is if a road is impassable and an alternate road must be taken. If a route must be altered and a stop location moved, the Transportation Department will attempt to contact the parents at the stop and inform them of the closest location where their children can catch the bus. Parents should not send their children to the bus stop if they believe that the road conditions jeopardize the safety of the students. If you have any questions regarding this information, please call the Transportation Department at 651-407-7538. Join White Bear Lake Area Schools' social media circles.
