Put milk, salt water, cooking oil and fruit juice into an ice tray and put them in the freezer to find out. Make it a fair test by putting the same amount of liquid in each section. Hot countries don’t have snow and ice. Can you find out why? How do the people that live in cold countries have problems that the people that live in hot counties don’t? Make a leaflet comparing how the different types of weather affects the people who live in two very different countries. Investigate how people who lived a long, long time ago made paint. What did they use? Make a poster showing the materials that were used and how to mix them together. Can you make paint by using some of the things in your home or garden?
