Coconut Oil
Palm Oil
Castor Oil
Olive Oil

+ Rosemary Extract (ROE) @ 1g per kilogram of oils.
SAP value is .149 (NaOH), and Soapquick is listed on Soapcalc.net for your convenience.
When making a batch of soap, simply WEIGH the quantity of SoapQuick you would like to use for your entire batch,
melt until clear, and mix with lye dissolved in your preferred liquid (distilled water, beer, coffee, goatmilk, etc.) At
Mission Peak Soap and Supplies, when we are making large batches of wholesale soap, we use a 5% superfat (or lye
discount), and a 2:1 ratio of distilled water to lye. Some soapmakers prefer to use more water, and that’s perfectly fine.
Soapcalc.net allows you to enter any percentage or ratio of water to lye that you wish.
The following table assumes a 2:1 ratio of water to lye, but you can change it. Just keep the lye quantity the same, and
add as much additional water as you are comfortable with. We prefer to measure in grams for small amounts. Once
you get past 5 pounds or so, you can start measuring in ounces, but be sure your scale is accurate and precise!

If you wish to add another oil or butter to SoapQuick, we recommend not going above 5% of your total oil weight. The
easiest way to figure out how much lye you will need with your adjusted recipe is to navigate to the SoapCalc free
online lye calculator (soapcalc.net/calc/soapcalcwp.asp) and add SoapQuick as 95% of your oils, and your added
ingredient as 5%. Then just adjust your water content and lye discount (superfat), and the calculator will churn the
answer for you once you hit the button “Calculate Recipe”. If you get stuck – Call Us!!
Remember, we are ALWAYS here to help you with SoapQuick, and we are happy to help you figure out how much to use
in each of your molds. With the purchase of SoapQuick, we will provide you with MSDS documentation.
