Itinerary
Day 1 Your journey begins in downtown Seattle, where your
home-away-from-home will be at the Hyatt House Hotel Seattle/
Downtown. This hotel is a stone’s throw away from the Space Needle,
Olympic Sculpture Park, and EMP and Science Museum. Become
acquainted with the city by enjoying a Seattle City Tour, filled with
beautiful sights and a professional tour guide to narrate the way. A
tour highlight includes a stop at the Chihuly Garden and Glass
exhibit, located in the Seattle Center. Explore the Garden, the
Glasshouse and other exhibits that are featured. The evening will
conclude with a lovely welcome dinner at the Seattle Space Needle. D
Day 2 Today we spend the morning at the beauty of Snoqualmie Falls.
We will walk the trail to view one of Washington’s most popular sights.
Located conveniently close to the Falls is a 2-acre park, an observation
deck to enhance your view, and the gift shop. Our next stop of the day
includes a wine tasting and tour at the Chateau Ste. Michelle where
wine and heritage intersect into an unforgettable experience. After wine
tasting, conclude the afternoon by enjoying a nice, casual lunch at Red
Hook Brewery, with a short tour. In the afternoon, we return to the
hotel giving you some leisure time. L
Day 3 We transition from land to water by hopping aboard the Victoria
Clipper to Friday Harbor, located in the San Juan Islands. Relish your
time on the water where you will enjoy a whale and marine life tour;
and we encourage you to be mindful to appreciate Seattle’s gorgeous
mountain ranges, and waterfront views. You will have some leisure
time in Friday Harbor as well! Choose to eat at the various island
eateries, stop and shop at different galleries and gift shops, or just sit
back, relax and enjoy the view. We conclude the day by returning to
the hotel to enjoy a hosted Happy Hour.
Day 4 Take an opportunity to experience Seattle on your own,
or continue to rest and relax, with free time in the morning
and early afternoon. Moving our focus from water, and back to
land, we then visit the Theo Chocolate Factory Tour. See the
transformation of the cocoa bean into Theo Chocolate’s
decadent creations. We complete the day at Ballard Locks
seeing a salmon run and dining at Ray’s Boat House
Restaurant. D
Day 5 Before heading home, the last stop on our trip is a tour
of the Boeing Everett Factory. You will surely be impressed
at the Boeing Factory in the world's largest building
(by volume) as the Future of Flight Tour presents a close-up
view of the 747-787 production lines, where skilled workers
build these colossal airliners. End the day saying goodbye at
Seattle’s Airport, catching your flight, and reminiscing about
the delightful city and your fun-filled vacation.
