A 60 year old farm located just north of the
wine capital of Canada on a secluded 650 acre
organic vineyard and farm. Spectacular views
abound from this 150 m plateau overlooking
Oliver and Tuc el Nuit Lake. Covert Farms
Family Estate is the perfect destination
for intimate weddings and private events.
Reception
For destination weddings, we have a
beautifully crafted timber frame barn offering
the utmost in rustic luxury combined with
incredible views of Nylintn Bluff and rolling
vineyards.

Ceremonies
We have two designated ceremony sites at
the farm.
The Panoramic Valley View site: This beautiful
outdoor setting provides you with stunning
views overlooking the valley, vineyards and
lakes.
Elegantly Rustic Vineyard Barn Site: circa
1960 elegant and rustic pole barn nestled in
the vineyard with majestic views of Nylintn
Bluff.
Each site seats up to 200 guests.
Grounds
Our 650 acres of secluded organic farmland,
vineyards, orchards and grazing pastures
with llamas, highland cattle and sheep
provide ample, simply elegant locations for
the perfect wedding photos.
Our beautifully restored 1952 Mercury truck
is available for your photo sessions and
wedding party transport.

We craft our 100% estate wines with minimal intervention, 1952 Mercury truck & driver: $100/hr
using our organic grapes and natural fermentation to (includes two bottles of Covert Estate Ansestral bubbly)
focus on vineyard and fruit flavours. Our white wines Straw bales: $10 ea
display a purity of fruit and crisp natural acidity coveted by Popcorn station: $100
enthusiasts, and farming with low yields results in terroir- Coffee Station: $200
focused artisan reds that are luscious and age-worthy.

A private wine tasting with a Covert host to choose your

in a damage fee of $2000 levied against the wedding parties credit

Terms & Conditions
Décor: All personal decorations must be removed at the
end of the event or by the opening of the wine lounge the
next day at 11am. Failure to do so may result in additional
charges. Decorations must not leave any marks on
the facility or village area including trees and wedding
stage. As a certified organic farm no non-biodegradable
flower pedals or artificial confetti may not be used.

Estate is proud to be a no trace venue and we strive to

Venue Fee / Deposit: This price quote is valid for 30 days
from issue. In order to secure your event at Covert Farms
Family Estate we require a 50% non refundable venue fee
deposit to confirm your booking. This payment serves to
hold the venue for the specific date of the wedding and
secure it as a private space. The remaining invoice and
fees must be paid at the completion on the wedding night.
Cancellation Policy: Cancellation must be made in writing.
In the event of a cancellation, all payments made to date
are non-refundable and all outstanding payments will be
due immediately.
Rentals: All décor, linen, glassware, cutlery, chairs, and
tableware must be rented and are in addition to the
quoted venue cost. Rental packages that include setup
and takedown are available from Covert Farms as listed
above. All rentals are to be arranged to be picked up from
the site the next business day unless otherwise arranged.
Event Planner: To ensure your wedding goes exactly the
way you envision it we highly recommend that you hire a
dedicated wedding planner to assist your with your plans
and the execution of your special day. This dedicated
individual that you choose will be the primary contact
with Covert Farms Family Estate and will handle any
questions or decisions that may arise during your special
day. Operating hours of our wine lounge begin at 11am.
Excessive facility use may result in post event cleaning
charges and will be billed to the renter accordingly.
Weather: Covert Farms Family Estate is an outdoor venue.
Except for the Rustic Vineyard barn or the Timber Frame
Reception Barn, weather can be an issue. It is the wedding
parties responsibility to plan ahead for inclement weather.
Weddings are held rain or shine. Additional tents are
available through third party vendors and arrangements
must be made ahead of time.

agreement unless otherwise agreed. Your catering
company and event coordinator are responsible for the
setup, takedown and cleaning up of the event. All waste
and recycling must be disposed of in the designated
areas at the end of the event.
Smoking: Covert Farms Family Estate is a non-smoking
venue. Designated smoking areas will be provided with
appropriate ash and cigarette disposal areas. Failure to
do so will result in a fine to the credit card of the venue
renter.
Timing: Covert Farms Family Estate is a working farm
and thus hours of operation are a consideration. Music
and Entertainment must conclude by 12:30am. Alcohol
service/last call is at 12:00am as it must conclude 30
minutes prior to the end of the event.
Transportation: Covert Farms requires that the host
provide a safe ride home to all their guests as there are very
few options in the Oliver area. Must have a transportation
plan in place with an approved vendor. Please contact us
for shuttle company recommendations.
Damages: In the event that damages has been done
to the facility during the renters time, the applicant will
be responsible for all damage fees. Upon booking the
applicant will provide credit cards details which will be held
in the he event that any damage occurs. An inspection will
be done Covert Farms Family Estate after the event . If
damage has occurred, an estimate of costs for repair will
be determined and the applicant will be contacted and
the credit card will be charged the amount of the cost
estimate.
All quoted prices are subject to applicable Provincial
and Federal Taxes.
