Dormer windows are windows in the attic on the slope side. They are on the face side of the house so
are squares or rectangles.
1. Draw a square or rectangle for the left dormer window.

center of the
window by using
an X.

line from the
center of the X
up to the top of
the dormer roof.
4. Draw the
triangle of the
roof.
5. Draw and
orthogonal
guide line from
the top of the
window to the
VP.
6. Using the
slope of the
roof, draw a
parallel line to
intersect the
orthogonal line.
This intersection
is the window
box.
7. Firm in the
lines. Erase the extra parts of lines if they are too long.
