The Spring term is not halfway through, you are more than halfway through your term of SGLC,
only ten weeks remaining. IF you blink you will miss the spring term. There is stuff already that
should be put into place in the Spring. I really encourage you all to ask yourself a question,
What did we accomplish and what do we want to accomplish in the spring? Set the legacy of
the 2016-17 SGLC. Collectively we should want to make a mark. We all signed up for a purpose.
So, reflect on these questions, pause and emphasize why we are giving our time to this
organization. Otherwise, we are all wasting our time. Useful, purposeful and meaningful!
The office of the Dean of Students deals with Title 9, CARE, and a behavioral concerns team.
Utilize K.C and I however youd like and however you see fit, I love working with you all. Please
reach out and let us know if you need anything.
Speaker Dumbauld: One of the things in this young organization that could be beneficial would
be to do a faculty member of the week kind of ordeal. It could help SGLC know more faculty
and and administration members who we could potentially work with.
Advisor Moore: We could pretty easily do that, and possibly highlight and area and give some
facts and information on that area and the faculty and staff/ administration in that area.
[email protected]
Senator Mannam: We are going to make a calendar of some of the events that we fund, and
other events that we hear about, just to get the word out there. Hopefully it’ll be sent out by

phrase to remove “respective and combined” to emphasize the President and Vice President
have a total of $100.
Senator Mannam: *Explanation of why that phrase is what it is*
Senator Sallese: Do you all want to have this discussion? I will send out resources to whomever
would be interested. I have a link to a google doc with different articles, videos, and policies
themselves on Sanctuary Campus’. Also includes a blank piece of legislation on it.
Senator Mifsud: To clarify, what Dr. Rooney did, made us a Sanctuary Campus. So showing this
through SGLC and letting students know, giving them assurance is really what we can do.
Sanctuary Campus Ideal given to RCDC.
