Animals Big and Small Animals come in many shapes and sizes. Let’s look at some of the biggest and smallest animals in the world. Blue Whale The biggest animal in the world is a blue whale. It can grow up to 100 feet long. That’s longer than sixteen six-­‐foot men lying head to toe! Giraffe Giraffes are the tallest animals in the world. Some giraffes grow as tall as nineteen feet. That’s taller than three men standing on top of each other’s shoulders! Harvest Mouse Some harvest mice are no more than three inches long. That’s about as long as a grown-­‐up finger!
