User Guide - Lawtel Precedents

5. HOUSE STYLE TOOL
The House Style tool allows a nominated subscriber in a firm (the Super
Subscriber) to set the firm’s house style by choosing from a series of
options. The font, size and style can be set for the body text of the
precedent, and the precedent and clause titles. There are options to
include page numbers and also the company logo, so that it always
appears on the front page of the precedent.
Once the bookmark link has been created, rename the precedent and
add a note. Sign up to be alerted by email when that precedent has
been amended.

When House Style has been set, any precedent that is downloaded
will appear as an RTF (Rich Text Format) document in that style.
Select House Style from the top navigation toolbar to check which
template you would like to use. If you are unsure, tick the Always use
Super Subscriber House Style box.
Alternatively, tick the name of the template and select Save default
House Style to ensure all your downloaded documents reflect your choice.
If you are a Super Subscriber you have the option to create up to five
House Style templates for your organisation. Setting up templates is
quick and easy, you can tailor each template to particular departments
or business needs. Preview the style throughout as you choose your
preferred settings.
