From the age of six Scarlett has been competing in national and European dance competitions which
have resulted in her taking massive pride in her appearance. For her the more fake tan and bigger
lashes the better and even boasts to being able apply both in the dark. Scarlett is not a fan of the
natural look but would never use sunbeds as she doesn’t think they’re safe so has instead chosen to
fake tan since the age of 14 and now applies fake tan for her 7 year old sister when she competes in
dance competitions. Her old employers Clinique did not agree with her make up style and she got
fired for making the customer’s too ‘orange’ so here’s hoping this is not the case in BEAUTY SCHOOL
COP OUTS. She dreams of one day having her own beauty range for girls who love the fake over the
top look as much as her.
Even though she thinks girls should take pride in their appearance she would hate to have a
boyfriend who was not manly – Scarlett thinks there is nothing worse than a boy with perfect
eyebrows and who wears make-up she would much rather her bloke had was rugged and unshaven
like her ideal man Gaston from Beauty and The Beast. She may get a shock when she enters the
house and sees our boys!
Our northern beauty does have a softer side as she spends some of her free time giving residents at
an Old People’s Home armchair workouts and says when she worked at the make–up counter she
loved how beauty ‘made people feel happy and built their confidence.’ Altogether now
ahhhhhhhhh…
Scarlett is one smart cookie achieving excellent grades at School and having just graduated from Uni
with a 2:1 degree in PE & Sports coaching. Scarlett has a business brain too, as she has recognised
that all the regular shops in her hometown of Bishop’s Auckland are closing down but the beauty
salons are thriving. She sees a real future in the business which will give her a chance for a career
and the opportunity to escape her home town.
