The Town of San Anselmo offers six picnic areas. All reservations are processed on a first-come/first-served basis and
are accepted a maximum of six months in advance. There is a minimum reservation time of three (3) hours. Fees are
payable, in full, at time of reservation. Notice of cancellation must be received at least fifteen (15) business days in
advance to receive a refund, minus a $15 processing fee. There is no alcohol or amplified music in any of our parks.

Serene area located in Millennium Park. Small round

contractors and employees, and any community organization co-sponsoring the program, from and against any and all liability for
any injury which may be suffered by me or my child arising out of or in any way connected with participation in the program(s)
named above. In case of emergency, my child may be treated by a qualified physician. MANDATORY ARBITRATION OF CLAIMS
AGAINST THE TOWN. It is hereby expressly understood and agreed to by the undersigned that any claim asserted against the
Town by the undersigned participant, either on behalf of him/her or on behalf of another person, on account of bodily injury,
mental disturbance, death or property damage, sustained as a result of, or for any reason connected to the use of Town property,
facilities or programs or acts or omissions of Town employees or volunteers pursuant to this registration, will be resolved by
submission to arbitration as provided by California law, and not by a lawsuit or resort to court process except as California law
provides for judicial review of arbitration proceedings. It is agreed that all claim submission, requirements, procedures, and
deadlines and all immunities established by the Government Code or other provision of law will apply, but that the undersigned
waives all rights to file a lawsuit and agrees, in lieu thereof, to resolving all claims and disputes through the arbitration process.
The Town and the undersigned, by execution of this document, are giving up their constitutional right to have any such dispute
decided in a court of law and before a judge or jury and instead are accepting the use of arbitration.

PARK REGULATIONS
1. Rental Permits are for the specific park facilities named on the permit ONLY- surrounding park facilities remain open and/or
available to rent to the public between the hours of 9am to dusk.
2. Parking is permitted in the posted areas ONLY. Cars and motorized vehicles of any kind are NOT permitted on fields or beyond
the legal parking areas. Curbside parking ONLY at Robson House Upper and Lower Picnic Areas. No person shall park in any of
the following locations:
a) within the traveled portion of the road
e) in any areas designated for disabled or handicapped
b) in front of any gate
f) in more than one parking space per vehicle
c) on any undisturbed or natural hillside
g) within posted “NO PARKING” areas
d) on any service road or trail
h) in any manner obstructing the free flow of traffic.
3. Amplified Sound and Music is NOT permitted in any Town Park.
4. Alcohol: consumption of beer, wine or alcoholic beverages of any kind is not permitted, nor may any receptacle containing alcoholic beverages be in your possession at any time.
5. Animals: where permitted, dogs and other domestic animals must be fastened to a chain or leash no more than six (6) feet in length
and must be under the direct and immediate control of a responsible person at all times so as to allow for the safe use and enjoy
ment of the park by others. A dog’s owner/keeper MUST clean up their dog’s waste.
No person shall do any of the following on Town Park property:
a) allow any dog or other domestic animal to enter signed environmentally sensitive or restricted area.
b) allow any dog or other domestic animal to interfere with, bother or disturb others using Town Park property.
c) allow any dog or other domestic animal to hunt, persue or harass other animals or wildlife.
d) bring or keep a noisy, vicious or dangerous dog or other animal.
e) tie or hitch any dog or domestic animal to a tree, plant, fence, picnic table, etc.
f) bring or keep a dog four (4) months of age or more without proof that the dog has a valid rabies inoculation or valid license.
g) leave a dog or other animal in an unattended vehicle without adequate ventilation, or in such manner as to subject the animal
to extreme temperatures which adversely affect the animal’s health or welfare.
h) fail to promptly remove from Town Park property any dog or other domestic animal after being ordered by department personnel to do so.
Horseback riding is NOT permitted in any Town Park.
6. Golfing is not permitted in any of the Town Parks.
7. Fires: No person shall build, light or maintain a fire of any nature on Town Park property, except in permanent, fixed barbecues or
fireplaces established by the Town. The use of portable barbecues and camp stoves is prohibited. Barbecues and fireplaces shall be
operated at all times in a manner which does not endanger the facilities.
8. Fireworks: No person shall possess, bring onto, set off or otherwise cause to explode on Town Park property, any firecrackers,
skyrockets or other fireworks.
9. Smoking: There is NO SMOKING permitted in any of the Town Parks.
10. Firearms and Weapons: No person shall possess, use, carry, discharge or cause to be discharged, any gun, firearm or weapon
while on Town Park property, including air or gas weapons, spring guns, spear, bow and arrow, crossbow, sling shot, animal trap,
knife with blade over five (5) inches long, explosives or any other form of weapon potentially dangerous to wildlife or human
safety. No person shall discharge or cause to be discharged any firearm or weapon onto or across Town Park property from outside
the boundary of such property.
Millennium Playground Rules and Regulations
For your playground enjoyment, please obey the following safety rules - failure to do so may cause injury to yourself or others.

No person may be in the park or playground between 1/2 hour
after sunset and 1/2 before sunrise.
Dogs are not allowed in the fenced playground areas.
Do not tie dogs to fences or other objects.
This is a smoke-free zone. Smoking or disposal of tobacco
products is NOT allowed in the playground or within 25 feet of
fenced playground.
All children must be supervised at all times.
The Tot Lot is intended for children ages 2 to 5.
Main Play area is intended for children ages 6 to 12.
Slide: feet first only - no crawling or walking up slide.
Swings: hold on with both hands, standing on swings may cause injury,
stop swinging before getting off, never swing or twist empty seat.
Play safely and be courteous to others.
The water at the Animal Fountain is continuously recycled and is
not suitable for human consumption.
Bare feet may cause injury.
Throwing sand, gravel or any other object within the play area
may cause injury.
The sun can cause the slides and other surfaces to become hot.
Test surfaces before allowing children to play on equipment.
Do not assist children onto equipment they cannot reach on
their own.
No pushing, running or shoving, climbing on benches, fences
or handrails.
Please use the waste and recycling containers provided.
No bicycles, skateboards, roller blades or scooters are allowed
within the playground or on the walkway.

CANCELLATION POLICY
A refund, minus a $15 processing fee, will be issued if notification of cancellation is received at least fifteen (15) business
days before your reservation date. In the event of rain,
a full refund will be credited to your account.
