New Student Organization Roster
All students who wish to charter a new student organization on the Baylor University campus
will use this roster to ensure that policies and procedures are followed correctly and to allow
for timely review of applications.
Roster Maintenance
The Department of Student Activities maintains rosters of all student organizations for several
reasons:
1. To determine the academic eligibility and active status of members
2. To keep records of the general involvement of Baylor students
3. To maintain clear communications with organization members and leaders
An official roster must be submitted each semester and updated every time new members join
an organization. Once the original roster is set up through the CONNECT system it is the
organizations responsibility to accurately maintain and update rosters.
This roster form must include the name and identification number of each member of an
organization. Names will remain on the roster until they are removed by the organization
officers. If a member permanently leaves an organization or assumes alumni status, that
individuals’ name shall be removed from the roster.
Rosters and Intermural Sports
It is crucial organizations participating in intramural sports to keep their membership rosters
up to date. There are limits to the amount of people that may play on both club and
intermural teams. For further clarification on rosters regarding intermural and club sports,
please contact the Student Life Center.
Release of Grades to Other Students
Grade reports are compiled at the end of each semester and the Department of Student
Activities notifies officers of members who become inactive based on academic performance.
The specific GPA will not be disclosed unless the student give permission to release those
grades by signing the membership roster. Grades will not be released to any other student.
