Vendor Night
• Where: KJH
• When: May 16th starting at 6pm
• What to wear: Form fitted clothing. You will be
sized for different items.
--This is when you purchase all mandatory and
optional items. Parents will be responsible for
signing up at 2 different volunteer lists.

New members

• 8th Grade GG’s will be at vendor selling gently
used items. You may purchase from them OR
Jazz Rags.
Woodlands Screen Printing

– Game Day Shirt
• Returning members must purchase:
– Gingham Girl Jacket (if you would like a newer
jacket)
– Game Day Shirt

GG Fundraising
• Fall & Spring Fundraiser (Amount TBD)
• How to fundraise:
– Participate in fundraising
– Sponsorships
– Family donation of $250(will accept at Vendor Night)

Tryouts

Everyone will tryout for every dance.
No guaranteed to make every dance.
Decision is made by the director only.
Officers will help with tryouts-only writing
critiques. Officers will NOT determine who is
dancing.
• Girls will tryout within their officer group.
• Results:
– In formation (a spot in formation)
– Shared Spot (sharing 1 spot with 1 or more GGs)
– Alternate (no spot in formation)
• Director will not discuss the outcome of tryouts
with the parent. The director will only speak with
the GG on ways to improve.
Team Building
• Yes, there will be drama…
• Yes, the girls will get on each other’s nervous…
• Yes, parents will talk…

Practice Times
• Everyday during 7th period
• Monday & Wednesday: Team Practice
– After school until 6pm
• Tuesday: Officer Practice
– After school until 5:30pm
PLEASE BE PROMPT AT PICK UP!!!
• Everyone will store their clothes in GG closet or
school locker
– 8th Grade will get dressed in Mrs. Sommers’ room
– 7th Grade will get dressed in Locker room or RR
Missing Items
• Every GG is responsible for their clothing and
belongings.
– School items & clothes
– CELL PHONES
– GG dance wear
• Director will not answer any emails/phone
calls about missing items.
