Call for Abstracts Guidelines (Free Paper)
The APCC 2017 Scientific Committee welcomes the submission of abstracts related to all kinds of cancer.
All abstracts must be submitted through the APCC 2017 website at www.apcc2017.org. Only abstracts submitted
through the on-line system will be accepted.

On-line Submission of Abstracts Opens: September 1, 2016
Abstract Submission Deadline: February 28, 2017
Acceptance Notification: by March 31, 2017
Presenting Author’s Registration Deadline: April 30, 2017
♦ Instructions for Abstract Preparation ♦
1. Abstracts must be written and presented in English.
2. We highly recommend you to write in the abstract window of the on-line system. However, if you have
difficulties, you may send your files in MS-Word format with the required contents to the APCC 2017
Secretariat by e-mail at [email protected]
Title: Use a concise title that indicates the content of the abstract. The complete title should be capitalized
and should not exceed 30 words. Refrain from using abbreviations in the title.
Authors: Names and surnames for each author must be provided. Do not include degrees or titles.
Presenting authors’ names will be underlined and corresponding authors’ name will be in bold.
Affiliations: Each author should be listed by department, institution and country.
Keyword: A minimum of three (3) keywords, summarizing the contents of the abstract, should be entered.
Text: Abstracts should not exceed 300 words. Abstracts will be reproduced exactly as submitted and will
not be edited in any way.
Contents may be organized as the author sees fit, though they should include the purpose of the study,
the methods used, a summary of the results and the conclusion reached. It is not satisfactory to simply
state that “The result will be discussed:”
Only standard abbreviations may be used without definition. Drug products should be identified by their
generic name only.
Data must be given in units (International metric system is preferred) widely used in literature.
No references, tables, charts or drawings are allowed.

1. Statement of Responsibility
Submission of an abstract implies that it has been approved by all listed authors.
The Scientific Committee reserves the right to make the final decision concerning the form of
presentation (Oral or Poster).
Work involving humans or animals, or material derived from them, must be approved by an institutional
ethics committee.
2. The presenting authors must complete registration with full payment by April 30, 2017. Without
registering, authors may not be scheduled in the scientific program or appear in the program book.
3. Accepted abstracts will be published in the official abstract book and/or abstract USB, which will be
distributed at the conference in delegate bags. Abstracts will be published as submitted. Errors will not be
amended by the organizers.
4. Modifications may be made before the abstract submission system is closed.
5. Authors who wish to withdraw their abstract should send a written request to: [email protected]

Information will be sent by March 31, 2017 regarding allocated sessions, requirements and instructions for oral
and poster presentations. If your abstract is accepted, please be sure to register no later than April 30, 2017. If
you do not register in time, your abstract may not be included on the APCC 2017 Abstract USB.
