INTIMATE WEDDING PACKAGE 2017 1 The Sea Island Wedding Team assists our couples from the initial inquiry through the final goodbyes on your wedding day. Let us handle the details of your special day, everything from flowers and event design to food and beverage, so that you can focus on the important part of your wedding day – celebrating with your loved ones! Your Sea Island Wedding Team helps you every step of the planning process, providing project management for your wedding events by: Overseeing the food, beverage, and event details Creating a logistical timeline for your events Executing production as day-of supervisors Coordinating with your vendors Your Sea Island Event Design Collective listens to your vision, collaborates with industry experts, and creates personalized experiences that celebrate life’s special moments. With customized design concepts and project management, they provide: Tablescapes and Floral Production Linens and Draping Furniture, Décor, and Lighting Pictures provided by Clay Austin, Brooke Roberts, Tim Zielenbach, 6 of Four, Anna Shackleford, Perry Vaile, Chrisman Studios, Alena Bakutis, Donna Von Bruening, Kelli Boyd, and Sea Island Photography 2 THE INTIMATE WEDDING PACKAGE This package costs $4,000.00, plus tax. Wedding Day to Include: An indoor or outdoor ceremony location at one of Sea Island’s wedding venues A traditional, two-tier wedding cake created by Sea Island’s Executive Pastry Chef A rose petal turn down and a bottle of sparkling wine on the evening of your wedding The assistance of the Sea Island Wedding Team throughout the planning process and during day-of execution Additional Information: The Intimate Wedding Package is appropriate for up to 20 guests, including the wedding couple. Intimate Weddings are offered Sunday through Thursday and may be considered within 6 months of the preferred date. To host your wedding at Sea Island, one must be a member or guest of the resort at the time of your wedding. A Sea Island reservationist will be happy to assist you in making a reservation, as rooms are not included in the package. Sea Island’s Event Design Collective will provide any desired event design for your wedding events. The package must be accompanied by a private reception or a dinner reservation in one of Sea Island’s dining outlets. Private Reception To continue the celebration, select one of our beautiful venues for a private reception! Your wedding team will assist you in choosing the menu and décor elements for your wedding dinner. We are honored that you’re considering us to be a part of your wedding! Please call us at 912.634.4422, email us at [email protected], or complete a submission form on www.seaisland.com/weddings to connect with our team. How do I schedule a site visit? As our team is dedicated to events on the weekend, site visits are available by appointment only on Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM until 4:00 PM. Please provide at least 48 hours notice so that we may do our best to accommodate your site visit request. Are guest rooms available at Sea Island properties for my attendees? Yes! We encourage your guests to enjoy everything Sea Island has to offer by staying at the Cloister, the Beach Club, the Lodge, or the Inn at Sea Island. Room blocks begin with a minimum of 10 rooms. Your Sea Island Wedding Coordinator will assist you with any room block needs. Should you require fewer rooms than the 10 room minimum required for a room block, a Sea Island reservationist is happy to assist you with your rooms reservation. Can I bring in my own vendors? All food, beverage, and décor must be provided by the Sea Island team. Décor translates to florals, any upgraded linens, upgraded chairs, lighting, and specialty rentals used in your event design. You are welcome to bring in your own ceremony and reception music, photographer, videographer, stationary, hair and makeup, and officiant. The Sea Island Wedding Team will also provide a list of preferred local vendors once you have contracted should you need assistance with the vendor selection process. What is the site rental fee for a reception? The site rental fee for most reception venues at Sea Island costs $2,000.00. There are 4 reception venues with alternate pricing. The Cloister Wine Cellar and the Lodge Wine Cellar function with a food and beverage minimum of $2,500.00 instead of a site rental fee, the Terrace Room at the Lodge requires a $2,500.00 site rental fee, and the Cloister Belle entails a $1,800.00 site rental fee for a 2-hour, private cruise. What is included in the site rental fee for a reception? The site rental fee reserves private use of your preferred function space for your wedding events. Additionally, the site rental fee includes several house options, such as tables, house white linens, tan banquet chairs, white folding chairs, house bar, house plateware, house glassware, and house silverware. Should you wish to upgrade any of these elements, the Sea Island Event Design Collective will assist you in bringing your wedding vision to life. What will the planning process look like? Approximately four months prior to your wedding date, we schedule a first planning discussion with you. This phone call consists of preliminary conversations with your Wedding Coordinator, Sea Island Event Design Collective, and Sea Island’s Executive Pastry Chef (if applicable) to discuss your overall vision for your special day. Two months prior to your wedding date, we have our second planning discussion. Depending on your preference, this meeting may be hosted in person or by phone. During this discussion, we finalize your wedding’s Event Design (including linens and flowers), food selections, and day-of timeline. If requested, Sea Island’s culinary team will host a menu tasting at this meeting at an additional cost. In the days leading up to your wedding, there is a final meeting with your Wedding Coordinator to discuss any changes or additions to your special day. Are tastings included in the menu pricing? Tastings are not included within the menu pricing. Should you wish to have a tasting for your event, these will be an additional charge. Tastings are hosted Monday through Friday between the hours of 9 AM and 4 PM. As they are offered by appointment only, please discuss your preferred tasting date with your Wedding Coordinator to confirm availability. 9 10
