Directions to IDA
The Institute for Defense Analyses Corporate offices and its Systems and Analyses
Center FFRDC are located in the Mark Center business park in Alexandria, Virginia. Our
address is 4850 Mark Center Drive.
IDA to/from Pentagon (as of 17 August 2013):
Metro buses 7M (direct 8:00AM – 6:46PM) and 7X (6:42AM – 6:33PM) and 7W (6:51AM –
7:03PM) (with stops) serve the Mark Center Transit Station and the upper level (U6)
Pentagon bus bay. CAC Card holders are not charged. When exiting a bus at Mark Center
Transit Station turn right to reach the access road for 4850. (See map on page 2.)
By Car:
Take Exit 4 West (Seminary Road) off I-395. Drive to the second light at the intersection of
Seminary Road and North Beauregard Street. Turn left onto North Beauregard. At the first
light, turn left onto Mark Center Drive (between Hilton Hotel and 1901 North Beauregard).
For Building 4850
Continue on Mark Center Drive past the
traffic light, then right onto the access
road to IDA. (Do not enter the traffic
circle. Stay to the far right to avoid
it.) Visitor parking is to the right as
you approach the building.
From Dulles Airport:

Take the Dulles Access Road to I-495 going toward Richmond (to the right).
Follow I-495 until you see signs for I-395/95 Interchange (I-395 goes north; I-95
goes south).
Take the exit to I-395 NORTH toward Washington.
Take Exit 4 West (Seminary Road) off I-395 to North Beauregard Street (second light)
and turn left onto North Beauregard Street.
Follow specific directions below for parking at 4850.
From National Airport:
