As a fully licensed investment professional for more than 40 years, Rick brings
his vast knowledge of the equity and
fixed income markets to our clients. He
focuses on technical research as well
as credit analysis for our team.
Rick is committed to long term relationships and strives to deliver excellent
client service. He listens carefully to
client’s desires, values, aspirations and
concerns; based on this input, he then
works attentively with the group to help
our clients achieve their financial goals.
Rick is an alumnus of University of
Miami with a BBA in Finance. Rick
has previously been a branch manager
for Butcher & Singer Inc. and Advest
Securities, and was the assistant Branch
Manager for the Aventura branch of
Morgan Stanley Smith Barney.
He is an avid tennis player, and football
fan. He and his wife Fran, have been
married for 45 years, and have 3 grown
children and 6 young grandsons.
Gail started her career in 1984 with Smith
Barney Harris Upham. Her extensive
knowledge of municipal bonds, annuities and insurance products together
with financial planning have made her
an incredible asset to the group. Gail,
early in her career, recognized her passion for helping people make the right
financial choices. She continues to take
financial industry courses in order to
expand her knowledge. Retirement
planning has always been her focus.
Gail strongly believes in the value of
a comprehensive plan, and the execution of it.
Gail and her husband Dennis have
been married for over 30 years and
have 2 grown sons. Gail loves Tai chi
classes and spending time with her
extended family.
Richard has an extensive background in
municipal bonds. He began his career in
1979, and has been with Smith Barney
since 1994. He focuses on constructing investment portfolios for high net
worth clients who strive to limit the
amount of risk while working to meet
the client’s objectives. Richard has always based his business on long term
relationships, and constant referrals
from his existing clients.
Originally from Boston Mass, Richard
attended Northeastern University &
Boston University. He came to South
Florida in 1972. Richard is an avid tennis player and a huge Florida Panther’s
fan. He is married to Ronni and they
live in Aventura.

Steven has focused his talents on serving
the investment needs of high-net-worth
clients. He is responsible for the equity
planning and assists in the tactical asset
allocation design. Steven uses his years
of experience, knowledge and insight of
the equity markets in assisting clients
to achieve their financial goals.
Steven came to Florida in 1979 after
graduating from Farleigh Dickenson
University with a Bachelors Degree in
Accounting. Steve enjoys playing classical guitar, and weight training. He and
Colleen have been married since 1985.
Colleen started her career at Merrill
Lynch in 1982 in operations. She came
to Smith Barney in 1994 and in 1997 she
received her Series 7 designation. She
is the education savings coordinator
for the group and believes strongly in
college planning. Colleen feels comprehensive financial planning is the
key to a client’s financial success. Her
extensive background in operations
continues to help the group today with
her organization skills and follow up
with administrative issues.
Colleen is a native Floridian, and
has strong roots in the community. She
volunteers with many charities in South
Florida, and has served on the Board
for Joe DiMaggio Children’s Hospital
Foundation, and March of Dimes. She
volunteers weekly at Joe DiMaggio
Children’s Hospital bringing her Maltese
dog to visit the children bedside. Colleen is also very involved with Rotary
International, and currently serving as
an Assistant Governor. She and Steven
have been married since 1985.
Odalys began her career in the financial
services business in 1993 at Credit Suisse
– First Boston. She moved to Morgan
Stanley Smith Barney in 2003 and is a
key member of The Ocean Boulevard
Group. She specializes in the administration and operations needs of the team.
Odalys received her Associate of Arts
degree from Miami-Dade Community
College and has earned her Series 7,
63, 3, 9 and 10 registrations. She is also
fluent in Spanish.
Odalys devotes much of her time in
her son’s activities in school and his
Boy Scouts of America Troop. In her
free time she enjoys watching movies,
camping and spending time outdoors.

Betty M. Yee
Senior Client Service Associate
Betty started her financial services career
in 1999, and has been a key member of
the Ocean Boulevard Group since its
inception. Betty received her Bachelor
of Sciences degree in business management from Northeastern University in
Boston, MA. Previously a medical office
manager, she is integral in working with
the Ocean Boulevard clients in accounts
servicing and client communications.
Her strength in administration is a key
component in maintaining and building
client relationships.
Her outside interests include enjoying our beautiful beaches, shopping,
travel, art, music & movies
