A REVIEW
BATMAN
SUPERMAN!
OF:
VS.
Unfortunately, Marcie was unable to
aend our movie
group this month or
provide a full sports
report.
Marcie’s
The movie that both
the west and east
CORNER
side groups saw this
past month was Batman vs. Superman,
starring Ben Affleck, Henry Cavill, Amy
Adams and more. The movie begins 18
months aer the destrucon of Metropolis from the Man of Steel movie. Superman has started to become an unpopular hero in the media, due to someone
seng him up at numerous events
where he is trying to help. However,
Batman is one of the people agreeing
with the media and is blaming him for
the destrucon of Metropolis and other
events. Meanwhile, Superman sees Batman as an uncontrolled vigilante whose
methods are becoming unorthodox.
Superman confronts Batman about his
secrets and threatens him. This prompts
Batman to start retrieving Kryptonite
from Lex Luthor, in more unorthodox
methods, so that he can fight Superman.
The fight ensues. If you want to know
what happens next, then go see the
movie for yourself.
Carl, Marieo and I rated this movie an
7/10. It was a good movie, but it seemed
long, a lile choppy, and too much backstory, which could have been divided
into two movies or shortened.
Happy Mother’s Day & Memorial Day!
A SPORTS REVIEW
The Cleveland Indians have started up
their season and lost the Home Opener.
So far we are doing ok hovering
around .500, but we could be doing
beer. Hopefully they will heat up with
the weather!
The Cavs won their first three playoff
games against the Detroit Pistons. Let’s
keep it up, Cavs!
We’ll see what happens with the NFL
dra coming up this week. The Browns
have already made one controversial
move by trading their 2nd overall pick in
the dra to Philadelphia for the 8th pick
plus 4 other picks. Fingers and toes are
crossed that they make smart picks!
Unl next month, this is Jacquie Houser
and various members signing off.
On April 14, 2016, JFSA celebrated 140

Award by Howard Maier, former PLAN
Board President and longme PLAN

Carol is able to assist PLAN Members
Recently, Carol stepped up to help with
the JFSA Ascena art therapy group in
addion to her work with the PLAN
Members. In total, Carol has volunteered over 700 hours to PLAN and
JFSA! She has enriched the art therapy
