Entry to Fair Play will give you access to performances, arts workshops and special events, created for babies and toddlers and their accompanying adults, to enjoy together. Performance: Friday 31 July at 5pm dance Ballet Masterclass with Catarina Lappin This unique day of ballet is a very exciting opportunity for ballet students who would like to be taught by a professional ballet dancer and teacher. Catarina Lappin, who is originally from East Kilbride, started her training at the Dance School of Scotland in Glasgow and later at the prestigious Royal Ballet Upper School in London. She returned back to Scotland and realised her dream of dancing with Scottish Ballet where she danced in many roles which included Giselle, Les Sylphide, The Nutcracker and The Sleeping Beauty to name but a few. Catarina now teaches at MGA Academy of Performing Arts and was guest teacher and assistant choreographer to Daniel Job at Ballet West, for his production of Romeo and Juliet. The two hour workshop will include ballet class and choreography from the ballet, Giselle, as well as pointe work for the Intermediate / Advanced level.
