magnification. Upright, unreversed 3-dimensional image remains in focus
throughout zoom range. Features top light with directional beam, bottom

Optical System
Paired widefield 10x eyepieces are 45 degree inclined, with dual diopter
adjustments, interpupillary adjustments from 55 - 75mm.
Eyepieces equipped with reticle holder/retainer to accept reticle with
22.8mm O.D. Viewing head rotates 360 degrees. Achromatic, color corrected lenses. Continuous magnification from 10x through 40x.
Illumination
Top light is 12V/5W halogen with rheostat control. Bottom light is
120V/5W fluorescent for cool operation, greater light efficiency, up to
10,000 hour bulb life. 4-position light control: Top only/bottom only/top &
bottom/off. Heavy-duty 3-wire grounded cord and plug.
Focusing
Large dual focusing knobs with slip-clutch to prevent damage to mechanism. Tension adjustment eliminates focus "drift."

Stage surface measures 6.5" (165mm) wide x 8.75" (220mm) deep.

This new Inverted AE series Microscope combines its newest Infinity corrected
CCIS optics, with unrivaled ergonomic features to provide its users with clean and
crisp images with less operator fatigue.
The AE series also combines an easy-to-use phase 10, 20 and 40x phase contrast
kit, which include maximum NA settings with longer working distances. The
Inverted Series also includes a centerable 30W/12V quartz halogen lamp, splash
proof turret and 22mm focusable eyepieces, an unparalleled value for the features
offered. The AE Series is also fluorescence enabled.
The revolving side facing
nosepiece accepts five objectives. It runs on ball bearings
and has internal click stops so
that the image remains centered after each change of
magnification.

We are pleased to announce the release the new Clinical Lab
Compound Microscope, the BA400 (450 with trinocular head).
the BA400, which combines the newest CCIS Infinity Optics wit
innovative mechanical design, provides unrivaled versatility,
ergonomics and optical excellence. The new CCIS design succeeds in achieving longer working distance objectives with higher numerical aperture. This represents a significant development
in optical performance and versatility. The design of the BA400
microscope optimally integrates all functions enabling effective
ergonomics and maximal expandability, designed to meet the
needs of a personal microscope. The size of the microscope is
compact to minimize the foot print and conserve limited desk
space available in modern clinics and labs. The ideally positioned
low profile fine focus knob and the stage controls make manipulation of either stress free. the 6V-30W Halogen Koehler illumination system provides bright, even illumination at any magnification. The “only one in its class” centerable lamp is housed
externally and has an externally operated mechanism for control
of all facets of illumination. The newly developed swing-out
Achromat condenser with numerical aperture of 0.90 provides
homogeneous illumination for observation and photomicrography at all magnifications from 2x to 100x. A field of view of
22mm has now been adopted as the standard or 10x eyepieces.
This enlarged field provides for faster scanning and easier viewing. Parfocality of focus is assured by independent diopter
adjustment provided on each eyepiece.

Eyepieces and Objectives
Paired WF10x eyepieces are 45° inclined, with dual

Illumination
Incidental illumination (top light) is 12V/15W halogen
with directional beam and rheostat control. Transmitted

Two Dimensional Optical Position Standard
This two dimensional optical position standard is a glass or quartz plate with a reflective chromium coating bearing a pattern consisting of a 7x7 matrix crosses on a a 20mm pitch. With an overall working area of 120mm x 120mm and a choice

DMB3 has a built in 1⁄3" CCD camera with Motic 3.0 software or better
