Puppies News December 2014 Welcome Puppy parents to December. I can’t believe this is our last newsletter of 2014. As we get into winter, we are going to be very busy little Puppies. The Puppy teachers have many fun activities planned for this month including our big holiday show. Most mornings we go practice in the high school’s auditorium and the Puppies just love dancing and clapping to all the holiday music that is being played. Towards the end of the month, we will be having a Holiday Pajama Brunch in which we will keep you posted on with further details. We hope all of our Puppies and Puppy parents have a merry and bright December! Coming this month...December! Looking back on November December is such a wonderful month especially for the children. We will be making some merry keepsakes this month that we hope you all enjoy decorating with. One special project we will make is candy cane and this will be made out of red construction paper, white paint and a marble in a box. We will then let each child take a turn in shaking the box with their candy cane paper in it; this will make a very cool design as each one will turn out different. We also look forward to our annual Christmas show which our Puppies have been practicing very well most days. This month we will also be having a holiday pajama brunch on Friday December 19th. The children can come to class in their holiday or favorite pajamas. Keep an eye out for a list beforehand as to what is needed for this yummy celebration! We wish everyone a very Merry Christmas! November was a very special month for the Puppies because we got to talk a lot about our families and friends and what it means to be thankful. The Puppies also enjoyed several fun things this month. For starters, all our Puppies enjoyed coloring their very own Thanksgiving placemat, even though a couple of Puppies tried to eat the crayons (ha-ha), and they all really enjoyed their Thanksgiving feast. It is really cute to watch them gathered around the table and see how friendly they are with each other as they enjoy such treats. Our Puppies also enjoyed our annual square dancing in the hallway; the Puppies have some great moves. Throughout this month we read different Thanksgiving and fall books to the Puppies which they are becoming more interested in when we read to them. We also sang a few silly songs such as, “Five Little Turkeys,” and “Mr. Turkey.” The Puppies all giggled when the teachers sang these silly songs. Also this month during our music class with Mr. Kenny the Puppies learned a new rainy day song that made our entire Puppy class wiggle and giggle. We hope everyone had a wonderful November! Puppy Pals As we approach our third month, our little Puppies are becoming more independent and very vocal. There are a few paw-some stories to share this month as well. During playground time, Matthew started collecting leaves and one by one he handed one to each girl; this made the girls smile. Also during playground time Caitlyn and Igor were playing peek-aboo in the tree house. The Puppy teachers get such a kick out of seeing our Pups enjoying the playground time and seeing them laugh together is pure joy! All of the Puppies are sure to have a merry holiday season this month, and we look forward to catching other paw-some moments to share!
