Where to store record files
There are 3 ways to store the recording files:
1.1) Record on TF card
If you have installed TF card ( storage card) on your camera, you can record on card, it is
24hours continuously, loop recording ( new files will overwrite the old files when it is full), you
can run PC client software “eyecloud”, go to menu by click Setting Gear--.>camera
parameters-->SD record--> choose “record with 24 hrs”:
Note: TF card don’t support scheduled recording and alarm recording mode. Only support
continuous recording mode.
if it work in the main stream (720p, 1.0 Mega pixel), you can record 11 days video on 64G
TF card。
Note: SD card in not included in camera when sell, you have to install it by yourself. You
can see how to unscrew the front cover to install the card on crd slot on card on main
board by going to www.iSmartlifeMall.com to find Video Guide.
1.2) Record on PC
You can record the video on the specified path on your PC: run “eyecloud” on PC,
Go to menu: Option-->storage, set the path on your computer to store the record files:
You can choose the days you want to keep records on this path, and the recording length for
each files. The video files including the scheduled recording video and the recording video
triggered by alarm. If you have a cloud disk mirror on your local disk, you also can set the cloud
disk path as the space to save recording files. So you will get a cloud backup files for recording.
1.3) Record on FTP server
You have a option to record it on FTP server if you ever set up FTP server, Pls go to the camera
setting menu by “ camera finder “ software on PC, and enter setting menu. Detail on using”
camera finder” program clould see on 5.6)
Then you can set the path to save recording files as the FTP server path.
2. How to record?
They are some ways to record:
2.1) Continuous record
the record will go on continuously
Click Setting gear-->record, choose enable recording, choose continuous recording,it will
recording with non stop all days until the Max limit days you specify in the storage path set page
above.
2.2) Scheduled recording
you can record on specified week date and time, click” add” to add schedule:
2.3) Alarm recording
Click Setting gear-->alarm, choose “enable alarm”, click” add”,
detection”, It will record after alarm is triggered.
choose “ motion
Select the alarm scheduler (week day & time it can alarm when motion is detected).
Action after alarm: you can choose “video record”, or“sound”, or “take picture”, “go
to preposition” , or “ “run program”

How to find record file
3.1 ) Find the record files recorded in continuous recording and scheduled recording
In the right bottom corner, click the setting icon “ video”, then you will have a search menu,
choose the Date rang of the video files you want to find, click “ search”, then you will get a list of
video files. Click the files you can play the video.
3.2) Find the video record that triggered by alarm
In the right bottom corner of screen, click the setting icon “ alarm”, you will have a search menu:
choose the Date rang of the video files you want to find, click “ search”, then you will get a list of
video files. Click the files you can play the video.
Or choose unread record to see the new alarm video.
3.3) Find record files in SD card
If you have installed SD card( TF card) in the camera, you can go to the video screen, right click
on screen, choose “view SD card files”, then the files in SD card will show, you can play it.
3.3.1) find record files in SD card on by PC client software:
The video is 15 minutes for one file. It is recorded continuously on SD card and in loop recording
mode.( the older files will be over written after sd card is full)
3.3.2) find record files in SD card by App on mobile phone:
Choose video-->records---> sd card records, files will show in list, click to play:
If you choose “ local medias”, it will show the files record on your phone’s memory. (It is the files
recorded by your manually operatting).
3.4) Find alarm video on Mobile phone:
Alarm video also can be find on the App of your smart phone at message center:
Click Home--->message center:
Click on “ read time video” . You can find real time video recorded when the alarm is triggered:

How to set alarm
4.1) Alarm on object missing
Click Option--->others, choose the alarm triggered delay time after object is missing, you also
can choose “ sounds alarm after the image is missing” , this will make you can get alarm if one of
your object is stolen.
4.2) Motion detection alarm
4.2.1) Set alarm on PC client software
Click Setting gear-->alarm, choose “enable alarm”, click” add”,
detection”
choose “ motion
Select the alarm scheduler (week day & time it can alarm when motion is detected).
Action after alarm: you can choose “video record”, or“sound”, or “take picture”, “go
to preset position” , or “ “run program”
You can click “ Test” to hear the alarm sound if you choose alarm action as “ sound”, the
sound music file can be specified by you.
4.2.2) Set alarm on APP eyecloud on mobile phone
Go to system> alarm setting, choose “motion detection arming”, the sensitive level
can be adjusted.

How to use pan tilt function to expand your view field
( Only for HN11, don’t support HN03 )
go to the video screen, left click, will pop up a pan tilt control panel:
5.1) Move direction
you can move the direction of the lens by moving arrow button on panel
5.2) Set preposition
you can set the preposition by saving current position as specifying preposition 1,2,3.......
5.3) Cruise set
Choose the cruise button:
Click “set”:
Click “ add” to add a cruise route name which you want the camera move along:
Click” add” to add some prepositions to build the route, the camera will move along these
preposition to give a view one the specified route:, the stay time one each preposition can be set
as your want, minimum time is 30s:
You can choose “ call the cruise when connected” to make camera start cruise along your
specified route# as long as it is connected to the network.
click the button on the automatic cruise control panel to start cruise:
5.4) Digital Zoom
It is supported , you can click button +,or - to Zoom in and Zoom out.
5.5) IR ON/ Off
IR is on on night time and you can switch off by click IR button, in IR mode, the video is not
colorful.
5.6) Set default preposition after power on
You need a brower (IE, Safari, Firefox ,Chrome,etc)to go into the camera setting menu to set the
default position which the lens face to after power up:
Run “ camera finder” program attached in disk ( can download from WWW.iSmartlifeMall.com)
Click “ find”, you will find the camera in your local network. Click the camera you find, then you
will enter the setting menu of camera.
Pls input user name: admin:
Password: 888888
Then yo will enter sign in menu:
Choose “ server push mode” to sign in:
You will see the video interface:
Click Setting Gear:
Choose System setting--->PTZ setting---->:
Choose: “ enable preset”, “ turn to specified preset on starting” choose the preposition# you
prefer ( this preposition is defined by you on the Pan tilt control panel before),
Click “submit”:
5.7) Set preposition on APP eyecloud on mobile phone
Click video:
Slide the screen to move the view, you can move up, down, left, right. You can also snapshot,
record. (Talk and listen is not supported)
Click the up-right corner to enter the setting of preposition:
Slide the screen with your finger to get a position, then click option X to define the position as
preposition X
You can set total 5 preposition. Then you can make it cruise along the preposition track by click
“ preset cruise”

How to adjust image direction
There is 2 ways to adjust image direction:
6.1) On PC client software eyecloud
Go to setting Gear: choose option--->connect:
down:
choose “flip image”, the video will be upset
6.2) On Mobile phone App
Enter setting menu, setting--->video, choose vertical mirror, or horizontal mirror:

How to set wifi
If you want the camera work in wireless mode instead of connecting with a network cable
to router, you need a wireless router and then set wifi of the camera to make it connect to your
wifi router.
7.1) Set wifi on PC client software eyecloud
Go to set menu: Option-->connect, click “ set wifi”, then click “search signal “to search wifi
signal around camera:
Input the wifi password. It will be ready if it show wifi set successful. Unplug the network
cable from camera, it will work wirelessly with network.
7.2) Wifi set on App eyecloud on mobile phone
Choose the camera you want to set, go to system---> wifi setting, choose the wifi you
want to use, input wifi password and click “confirm” :
Unplug the network cable from camera, it will work wirelessly with network.
8. What is the use of registered cloud account? Must I use it?
The cloud registered account is a good way to manage all camera you want to see. After you log
in your account, each camera you ever added in this account will show no matter where you are,
or which device you use. With out this account, you have to add your camera in different device.
For example: if you ever add one camera when you use PC client software on computer, you can
see this camera with this computer, but when you go out, you want to see the camera by your
smart phone, then you have to add this camera again on your phone. While add camera only can
be done in Local network, or by camera’s UID number. So it is hard for you to add camera when
you are out. But with cloud registered account, the camera info is under same account, it is
remember in the server on cloud, you still can see each camera in your account after you login no
matter you use your computer or phone as long as you connect to internet.
But because cloud account need connection to internet, so if you are not connected to internet,
it can’t work. Then if you can’t connect to internet, you have to use another software “ camera
finder” to work in local network.It can download from www.iSmartlfeMall.com. with this
software, you can add the camera in your local network without internet connection. You also
can configure the camera on IP address, Port, etc.

9. How to set E-mail alarm?
If you want to get a E-mail when alarm is triggered, you have to go to the camera setting under
Brower window by use the “Camera finder” software on PC. It can be download from
www.iSmartlifeMall.com.

Then you can Go: Alarm setting---> Mail setting:
9.1) eMail setting:
Sender: your email address ,example: [email protected]
SMTP Server: choose corresponding e-mail address, example: smtp.gmail.com
SMTP Port,Need Authentication,SSL, when you choose SMTP server,it will input
automatically.
SMTP USer: input corresponding smtp user, example:123
SMTP password: input email password
Receiver: you can choose the same email address as sender or choose other email
address.
5 click submit first ,and then click Test,if you test failed,please choose smtp server
again,then click submit and test.(notice: smtp user format)
9.2) enable " send mail on alarm"
Go to alarm setting menu, enable " send mail on alarm"
you will get e-mail alarm.
10. How to install and connect the camera

Connect the camera
Plug in the provided power adapter to camera
Connect the IP camera and router via network
cable.
Please use the attached power adapter to avoid any damage to the camera.
And make sure that the Power indicator light of the router is on (yellow) and the
Network Indicator light is flashing (green).
Note: The IP camera can be reset to factory setting by pressing the reset button
for 10 seconds. The reset button can be found on the bottom of the camera.

10.1 install on PC
Register an account
●
Run PC client software “ eyecloud”,input your email address and password to
register your account.
●
Click” +” on the right botton menu zone, click ” find”to search the camera
in LAN, the searched camera will show with IP address and UID code:
Choose your camera’s UID and then click “ ok” to see the video.
10.2 Install on smart phone
10.2.1 Register an account

For Android /IOS device, input your email address and password to register.
10.2.2 Add camera
Click “
Home” icon,
choose“device management ---> IP camera“
Then click ”+” to add camera
There are 3 ways to add the camera:
1)
By manually add:
Click “QR code scan”, and then point the phone camera towards the UID
sticker.
●
The UID can be found on the bottom of the camera or the warranty card. After a
“beep” sound, the UID is scanned successfully.
●
You also can intput the UID code by typeing in.
2) LAN search ( recommanded):
Also in “Add camera” sub-menu you can click “search camera in LAN” to
add cameras in the same local network LAN.
Note: your smart phone must be in the same local network as camera in this
case, you can go to wifi seeting on your phone to connect your phone to the same
wifi router which the camera connect to with network cable.
The default password is: 888888; The default user is: admin
3) Quick setup:
This only work for the indoor Pan Tilt camera model with two way audio function,
HN11/HN03 don’t support.
Choose “ quick setup”, input the wifi name and passowrd which your phone
connect to, click “ confirm”, then put your phone close to the camera( the phone
will transfer the wifi name and password to camera by sound signal), click “ send”
After add the camera, click the camera icon to view the live video.
