This session introduced analogy type of questions. You seem to have got many of them wrong. A helpful
procedure for tackling analogy questions , granting that you know the words could be as below:
a) Make a meaningful sentence using the lead words in the same order of appearance.
b)Substitute the pairs in each choice in the same order and see if the sentence make sense.
c) If this does not work, make different lead sentence which takes into account broader meaning of the
two words and continue your plug in tests.
In analogy question, HERO : DAUNT. You can form a sentence:"A hero cannot be daunted" . You have
the following choices: scholar : teach, saint : tempt, villain : torment, romance : elevate, student :
study.~n Correct Answer is => saint : tempt~n The choice you selected is => villain : torment. ('A saint
cannot be tempted' fits the best and hence the answer!!). Try to use this tip for Analogy questions in the
future. Use this logic and validate for some of the questions that you got incorrect.
