Suggestions on making your
collection jar …
1.
Ending Hunger Makes
Good Sense!
The goal of The Change Campaign
is to raise $5,000 in coins to donate
to Elijah’s Promise. The funds will
be used to provide meals at the
Soup Kitchen. For every $2.50
raised, one person will be provided
with a hot meal.
Find an empty jar (with a lid) and clean it out. Some container suggestions: peanut butter jar, tomato sauce jar, plastic
take out containers, coffee grind container, powder lemonade/ice tea/Gatorade containers, etc.
2.
Use our template below, or make your own.
3.
Trim the template to fit your jar and tape/glue it to the jar.
4.
Use scissors to cut a slit that is big enough for change into
the middle of the lid, then secure the lid onto the jar.
5.
Feel free to decorate the jar to make it get more attention.
6.
Place jar in a convenient location for people to drop coins
into your jar.
