DATES:
November 11-13, 2016
DIVISIONS:
8, 10, 12 & Under
AGE GROUPS:
Age is determined by the participant’s age on September 1 of the current
school year. (9/1/16)
ENTRY FEE:
$200 per team. (Double Elimination, 2 game guarantee either in winner/loser bracket.)
GATE FEE:
$150 per team. (This fee will cover players, coaches, and unlimited spectators. No
additional gate fee will be charged on site.)
ENTRY DEADLINE:
Friday, November 4, 2016 by 12 p.m. Entry fee, entry form, certified
TAAF team roster, and a copy of each player’s birth certificate are
due by the deadline.
RETURN ENTRY:

FORMAT/BRACKET:
Double elimination bracket. Tournament brackets will be made available at
coaches meeting. Brackets will be posted at www.teamsideline.com/taaf.
Team’s placement in bracket will be manually generated by using the
following methods: Separating by season record and by cities.
IMPORTANT NOTE: You will not be included in the tournament bracket if
we have not received your certified TAAF roster and copies of each
player’s birth certificates by 12 P.M. on Friday, November 4, 2016. If you
are left off the bracket due to not turning in paperwork, there is no refund,
no exceptions.

representative and turned in with registration.

COACH’S MEETING:
Coaches meeting will be Friday, November 11 at 7:00pm at the Denton
Civic Center. 321 E. McKinney St. Denton, TX 76201. Rules, schedules,
coach’s passes will be discussed. Only 3 coach’s passes will be provided
per team. (Coaches passes required to be on the sideline.)
GAME TIMES:
Games will start on Saturday, November 12 at 8:00 A.M. depending on
the number of teams registered.
UNIFORMS:
Same color jersey with non-duplicating numbers including at least an 8
inch number on the back. The number on the front is recommended but
not mandatory. Any shorts or pants worn must not have pockets per TAAF
Cavalcade.
EQUIPMENT:
Teams are expected to provide own footballs. TAAF will provide the flag
belts and will be required to use.
PROTEST:
All protests must be filed by the end of the game. Only a coach can file a
protest. Judgment calls are not a basis for protests. You must notify the
officials and scorekeeper so the protest is noted in the book. Please
complete a protest form and submit with $50 non-refundable fee in cash.
Protests will be reviewed by the Protest Committee and the ruling will be
final.
