Excellence. Pride. Commitment. Learning. Motivation. Engagement.
“I’ve always been an active
student in school. Like
several of my peers say – I’m
involved in a billion things.
Those achievements are the
little things that brew a spark
into my future. Involvement
creates joy in life knowing
that all the steps I’ve taken
in school will always be
remembered at Shiloh.”

2010 Broad Prize Awarded to GCPS
The Broad Prize is an annual award
that honors large urban school districts
that demonstrate the strongest student
achievement and improvement while
narrowing achievement gaps between
income and ethnic groups. As the winner
of the largest education award in the country, Gwinnett County Public Schools will receive $1 million
in college scholarships for its high school students. GCPS was recognized for outperforming similar
districts in Georgia; narrowing achievement gaps; achieving high SAT, ACT, and AP participation
rates; and, having a higher percentage of students performing at advanced levels.
