You can have a hamburger, pizza, salad, whatever you want.. Probably even meatloaf! How much more traditional than that can you get? If you would like to go out to eat just sign-up at the nurses station. We will be leaving from the Activity room on April the 21st at 10:30 a.m.. The luncheon at Ye’ Old Castle included a 5000 piece puzzle that our Dietary Manager put together himself, and brought in for decoration, plus lovely ladies dressed in their renaissance apparel, dancing round the room. As usual Carlos Xavier was fantastic on his flute and his costume was superb! What a wonderful musician. During the Renaissance faire that followed Fern Cabbage got her fortune told.. When she heard that she needed some Whoop Tee Doo in her life. She got right out and got some..She is now our new Resident Council President! Way to go Fern! This New Year…. She will be here on April the 6th to tell us about the Port Angeles CoOperative Colony. This bit of history about our local town should be very interesting. The guild has been practicing some very comical skits based on singles adds. This performance promises to be hilarious. Come down to the Activity Room early on the 20th to get a good seat. The performance starts at 3:00 p.m. Sherwood Cinema Now Showing Tuesday Night Movie at 6:30 p.m.: April 27th, “Show Boat” Saturday Movie Matinee: April 3rd, “Woman of the Year” 1:30 p.m. April 10th, “The King and I” 1:30 p.m. Resident Council ―Irrigation Festival Royalty‖ YAH HOO! We get to meet the Irrigation Festival Royalty again this year! What a privilege to see these young ladies and hear about who they are and what their plans for the future are. Don’t miss this opportunity to make these young people feel they are important and what they are doing is important. The Sequim Irrigation Festival is held in May on the 8th. It is an annual festival that celebrates the building of the irrigation ditches in the Sequim Valley that brought water to an area that was dry and desert like. Book Club Thank you Doris for your donation of throw pillows for the Store! We have had a large donation to the store recently. So come down and see the new items. We have changed the format of the Book Club. For those who enjoy belonging to the club, and also like to be read to, we are meeting in room 306 on Monday morning’s at 10:30 a.m. and I am reading a selection of short animal stories.
