Exhibition:
An Unfinished
Journey – Law and
Justice for LGBTIQ
people in Victoria
1835 – 2016
The exhibition, put together by
the Australian Lesbian and Gay
Archives, tells a story starting
in the 1800s of some of the
victims of gay sex convictions.
From the crime of “buggery”
to the death penalty, you will
learn about the laws that were
used to discriminate against
LGBTIQ people. Come along
and join the ongoing fight for
human rights and equality.
