Use and Care Instructions GlideRack™ Oven Rack Dacor’s GlideRack oven rack is designed to install easily and glide to full extension. When you use it, you can effortlessly slide heavy pots, pans or other items out of the oven to check, stir or add ingredients quickly and safely. The full extension of the rack allows you to slide pizza on and off the optional pizza baking stone (model ABS16) with great ease. It is also great for large roasts in large roasting pans and allows you to baste more easily. Installation: 1. Align both sets of safety clips (right and left) on the back of the rack guides with the oven rack supports as shown below. NOTE: The diagram below shows installation with the rack guides extended but, the rack may be installed with or without the guides extended, whichever is easier. 2. Begin to slide the rack in, lifting the front safety clips over the front of the oven rack supports. 3. Push the rack all the way in. 4. Grasp the rack in the center of the front and pull. The rack should come forward while the guides remain in place. Grasp the rack with both hands and pull it gently straight out toward you until it stops. 2. Lift up until the front safety clips just clear the front of the rack supports on the oven. Continue to pull out. Moving the end of the rack back and forth slightly, left to right, as you pull, will make it easier to remove. Helpful Hints: • This type of rack works particularly well with heavier items, but you can use it for any type of baking, broiling or roasting in your Dacor oven. • GlideRack oven racks need to be spaced out when using more than one at a time. For example, they should be used on rack positions 1 and 3 or 2 and 4, counting up from the bottom. • When using the GlideRack oven rack with Dacor’s optional baking stone, use rack position 1 for best results. • Heavier roasting pans and dishes will also cook better on rack position 1. • Do not leave any oven racks in the oven during the self-clean process. They will become difficult to slide in and out. • To clean your GlideRack oven rack, use hot, soapy water and the rough side of a sponge. Part No. 105540 Rev.
