Features
Darklite 56/7 is a 7“ aperture low brightness downlight designed for use
with PAR-56 spot and flood lamps (500-watt maximum). Precise reflector
design minimizes aperture brightness with a shielding angle of 45°.
The 7” aperture matches that of our 7“ compact fluorescent, low voltage,
A, PAR and HID lamped downlights, wallwashers and accent lights.
A removable housing lid allows the fixture to be relamped from above as
well as below. A protective screen is provided in accordance with lamp
manufacturers’ recommendations.
Accessories for retaining color filters and spread lenses are available.
Reflectors are available in three clear natural aluminum finishes ––
semi-specular (C), slightly diffuse (V) or fully diffuse (EC) –– as well as
champagne gold or black Alzak®. Other reflector finishes are available
on special order.
Requires ceiling opening of 7 15/16” (202mm) for Overlap or Flush Detail.
Requires ceiling opening of 8 3/16” (208mm) for Trim Flush Detail.
Darklite 56/7 includes a pair of mounting bars (¾” x 27” C channel).
