The Medicine Hat Lodge Resort Casino & Spa is known as one of Medicine Hat’s finest Hotel
and Convention Centers. There is ample parking available; the meeting rooms are large and
comfortable, and the facility is close to major amenities such as shopping, restaurants and
theatres.
An agenda is well underway which will include a Friday companion outing and free time for
shopping on Saturday. The organizing committee is also working on getting some great prizes
for raffles. For those of you who haven’t experienced the wonders of the Badlands or the vast
prairie landscape of southern Alberta this would be a great opportunity to do so and we will be
pleased to help you with your vacation plans.

In closing, I would like to say on behalf of the organizing committee, we are looking forward to
seeing as many of you as possible. Come join us for the fun. The theme for the 19th Annual
Grand Session is “LASSO THE SPIRIT” so bring your casual western wear and be ready to
dance up a storm on the Saturday night. Your participation can only make this 2012 Grand

The Medicine Hat Clay Industries National Historic District is a living, working museum that
offers a unique and extensive experience through collections, exhibits, interpretation, guided
tours and educational and artistic programming. The Medalta Potteries Museum and Hycroft
China Factory Complexes are the focal points in this 150 acre region. This nationally recognized
historic district is a cultural initiative of the Friends of Medalta Society with Federal, Provincial,
Municipal and Private Support. Restoration, preservation and cultural development of the
Medicine Hat Clay Industries National Historic District for the purpose of education and public
enjoyment is ongoing.
