Where were you born? When? What important events have happened in your life? How have you become the person you are today? This does not have to be typed and should not take much time. Remember to also get the binder! My generation song or poem Write a short song or poem that summarizes who you are as a generation of young adults. Think about how your generation is different from your parents – what things make each generation different? What is the culture of you and your friends? The Northern government tries to “reconstruct” or rebuild the South after the war, but there is resistance.
