NAACP San Diego Branch Goes to the Del Mar Races
The Race is On for the Virginia and Warren Oden Day at the Races!

As one of our time-honored and long traditions, the NAACP San Diego Branch invites you to join us at
the Del Mar Races on Saturday, August 20, 2011.
We will have a bus leaving at 12:00 noon from the Malcolm X Library, located at 5148 Market Street,
San Diego, CA 92114 (corner of Euclid Avenue and Market Street). The first race is at 2:00 pm and we
will return after the last race at 6:00 pm. The bus will hold 57 attendees. If we have more than 57 for
the first bus, we will try to get a second bus.
The tickets are $30.00 for each person, $55.00 per couple or 2 reserving at the same time. Ticket
prices include admission, reserved seating with the NAACP San Diego Branch, program booklet and
transportation to and from the races – no need to worry about traffic- leave the driving to us.
We will also have our own NAACP SD Branch "hat contest" for those who reserve and are on the bus.
The first, second and third place winners will receive a one year “free membership” in the NAACP
San Diego Branch.
