Kirby South East Asia bags Best High
Rise Pre-Engineered Building of the Year
Award
Kirby South East Asia (Kirby SEA) has been conferred with Business
Excellence & Research Group’s (BERG) Icons of Spaces Award in the Best
High Rise Pre-Engineered Building of the Year category.
The 3rd edition of BERG Real Estate Awards held at Raffles Town Club in
Singapore, dwelt on the challenges on ‘Urban Solutions & Sustainable
Development” and honored developers, architects, interior designers and
other service providers in the real estate/ property sector across India, South
East Asia & Middle East.
Kirby SEA project executed at Gul Avenue 14 in Singapore includes a fivestorey factory building with steel ramps and parking area and a nine-storey
mix usage building for administration and storage. The complex design and
build were according to latest Euro code 1, 3 and 4.
The Gala Awards Night also featured a power-packed panel discussion
around Urbanization & Sustainability in Construction with some well known
industry stalwarts from Singapore and other countries including Ms. Hemanti
Sutaria – Architect from Mumbai, Ms. Uma Srinivasan, Vice President - SNN
Builders from Bengaluru, Mr. Gordon Falconer, Director - Smart City
Solutions, Schneider Electric and Mr. Bibhor Srivastava, Publisher - ITP
Publishing.
While announcing the theme for the third edition of the premier event,
Managing Partner of BERG, Mr Vishwesh Iyer said that this year the focus
was on the booming international real estate sector. This time, the nomination
process attracted a lot of interest from India and other countries in Asia as
well, he stated.
The BERG Real Estate Awards were introduced by Singapore-based
organization - Business Excellence & Research Group Pte Ltd in 2014. The
Awards, now called the ICONS OF SPACES, shines the spotlight on the high
caliber work within the real estate industry, encompassing construction,
architecture and interior design. With a professionally run evaluation system,
they also bring the real estate industry of the participating countries to the
world stage.
