The Elizabeth Logistics Center will qualify for a level of State incentives available to few newly constructed industrial projects in New Jersey.
Strategically located in an Urban Transit Hub, the site can provide a minimum incentive of $5,000 per year, per eligible new job at the site
for up to ten years through the revamped Grow NJ Assistance program. This “base” incentive will potentially be further increased by various
bonuses related to investment and other activities.

For example, a logistics or transportation company, creating 25 new jobs or retaining 35 “at risk” jobs in New Jersey, and moving to the new Elizabeth
Logistics Center, can earn $5,000 or more in incentives per year for every new job, and $2,500 per year for every retained, “at risk” job. A company
creating only 25 eligible new jobs at this site, and occupying 140,000 SF, could save a minimum of $1.25 million over ten years (if executing a lease
and renewal options totaling at least 15 years). This translates to a savings of almost $0.90/sf per year – even before considering the numerous
bonus incentives available for satisfying investment, employment, environmental and other criteria.
Grow NJ Assistance program incentives are awarded in the form of credits against the New Jersey Corporate Business Tax. If the awarded credits
cannot be fully utilized, they can be sold in exchange for cash or in some cases assigned to an affiliated entity.
